A Pair of Miniature Wood Chairs in the Windsor Style - A pair of miniature wooden chairs designed in the Colonial Revival style. The first item is a Windsor style tete-a-tete settee featuring a black painted finish and a stained reddish-brown seat. It is constructed with two arched bow-backs, each containing vertical spindles, joined by a continuous arm rail. The contoured seat is supported by turned legs connected by a braced H-stretcher base. The second item is a rocking chair crafted from a light-toned wood. It features a shaped crest rail with a central heart-shaped cutout above a back with four vertical spindles. The piece includes contoured armrests and a shaped seat, all mounted on a pair of curved rockers. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are present on the undersides of either item.
