Three Pieces of Wayne Pace Contemporary Salt-Glazed Stoneware - A trio of salt-glazed stoneware vessels by North Carolina potter Wayne Pace, dated 1985, 1987, and 1988. The collection includes two tapered pots with applied lug handles and one cylindrical mug with a single loop handle. Each piece features a salt-glazed exterior with characteristic orange peel texture and cobalt blue slip-trailed decoration. The interiors are finished with a dark reddish-brown glaze. The large pot is decorated with a stylized floral or tulip motif. The smaller pot depicts a bird perched on a leafy branch. The mug features a central heart motif with small leaves at the base. Each vessel is incised on the underside of the base with the signature W. Pace and the year of production.
