Holmegaard 1987 Christmas Glass Decanter with Brass Ring Cork Stopper - A clear glass rectangular decanter with rounded shoulders, produced by Holmegaard for their 1987 Christmas series. The vessel features polychrome enamel-painted decorations on two sides. One side depicts a young girl in a red and yellow dress peering through a green-framed window at potted red tulips. The reverse side illustrates a green birdhouse on a stand populated by several white and yellow birds, positioned above a yellow decorative fence featuring heart-shaped motifs. The decanter includes its original cork stopper, which is finished with a brass circular pull ring. The design was originally created by Jette Frolich and Michael Bang.
