The clock features a silvered, skeletonized chapter ring with black Roman numerals and fleur-de-lis half-hour markers, complemented by pierced blued steel hands. The movement is mounted on a circular base covered in green velvet, which is set into a molded, multi-colored onyx plinth. The entire unit is protected by a clear glass dome and includes a brass winding key. The front frame base is inscribed Thwaites and Reed, and the dial is marked Made in England at the bottom center.
