Oscar Peterson Hand Carved and Painted Wooden Pike Fish Decoy - A hand-carved and painted wooden northern pike spearing decoy by Oscar Peterson of Cadillac, Michigan. The decoy features a dark reddish-brown body decorated with hand-painted black undulating line patterns and yellow accents on the tail, fins, and gill area. The construction includes four inserted metal fins, two iron wire eyelets for line attachment on the dorsal side, and a flush-mounted lead belly weight. The carving displays a blunt nose and a distinctive V-shaped gill notch characteristic of the maker. The tail is carved as an integral part of the wooden body. Length: 8.75 inches.
