Vintage Carved Wood Folk Art Ice Fishing Spearing Decoy with Metal Fins - This item is a hand-carved wood folk art ice fishing spearing decoy featuring a polychrome painted surface. The elongated body is constructed with several metal fins, including a dorsal fin, two pectoral fins, two pelvic fins, and an anal fin, all of which are inset into the wood. Three metal loops are secured along the top for line attachment. The underside of the belly contains two rectangular lead weights used for stabilization. The paint scheme consists of a dark olive or black top with vertical bars extending down to a light blue midsection and a yellow belly.
