Antique Hand Carved and Painted Wooden Trout Spearing Decoy - An antique hand-carved and painted wooden fish spearing decoy, modeled after a trout. The decoy features a dark-painted dorsal surface and a reddish-brown underside, accented with yellow-painted dots and black vertical markings along the sides. The notched tail displays yellow painted rays. The piece is fitted with four thin metal fins, comprising two pectoral and two pelvic fins, and a metal screw eye is located on the dorsal surface for attachment. The eyes are painted yellow with black pupils.
