American Queen Anne Style Painted Tavern Table - An American Queen Anne style tavern or side table featuring an oval solid wood top set upon a painted base. The table is constructed with a cherry or maple top showing a natural finish and visible wood grain, mounted to a wooden frame finished in a traditional mustard yellow ochre paint. The base consists of four square tapered legs joined by a deep apron decorated with scalloped cut-outs on all four sides. Construction details include traditional pegged mortise and tenon joinery at the leg-to-apron junctions.
