The cabinet features a black lacquered finish with elaborate gold-toned Chinoiserie landscape scenes and decorative stenciled borders throughout. The upper section is constructed with a stepped pediment crown and two large front-facing glass doors accompanied by glass side panels. The interior of the upper hutch contains three adjustable glass shelves and a textured gold metallic back panel. The lower buffet base features two cabinet doors decorated with traditional pagoda and mountain landscape motifs. The lower interior includes one shelf and a glass-bottomed floor.
