REMBRANDT VAN RIJN (1606-1669) ETCHING AND DRYPOINT TITLED SELF PORTRAIT IN A CLOAK WITH A FALLING COLLAR, 12IN x 14IN (30.5cm x 35.6cm) - Rembrandt Van Rijn (1606-1669) etching and drypoint titled Self Portrait in a Cloak with a Falling Collar. It is after the original which was first impressed in 1630 or 1631. This piece is a restrike that is believed to have been impressed in the 1800s. The actual impression measures 2 1/4 inches x 2 5/8 inches and it was impressed on tan laid paper. It is double matted and framed under glass in a gold frame.
