Significant! Sefer 'Brit Kehunat Olam', compositions relating Kabbalah with Chassidut. Authored by the Holy Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik Katz, disciple of the Holy Maggid of Mezritch. Volume 1 [part 1-part 2]. Lemberg, 1848. Volume 2 [part 3] Munkatch, 1891. 

The Holy Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik Katz (1753- 1787). From the great sages of the Chassidic movement. Disciple of the Holy Maggid Rabbi Dov Ber of Mezritch. Was descendant of the Holy Rabbi Naftali Katz author of 'Semichat Chachamim'. Still in his youth his name was renowned as a great scholar, it is told that the Holy Maggid stood before him with much aw even before he was 20. He received Semicha from the famous scholar Rabbi Chaim HaKohen Rappaport Rav of Lemberg author of 'Zecher HaChaim'. Rabbi Yitzchak Eisik served for a period as Rav in Koritz, there he founded a Yeshiva (among his students there was the Gaon Rabbi Asher Zelig Margaliot of Brodi). Likewise he headed the Kloiz (Beit Medrash) in Austro.
