Letter laden with warm blessing by the Rosh Yeshiva of the Slabodka Yeshiva the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Scher to the Holy Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Halevi Herzog, Bnei Berak, 1948.
In the letter, the Rosh Yeshiva blesses his friend the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Halevi Herzog with warm blessings for his 60th jubilee. In addition he sends his regards to his extended family.
Rosh Yeshiva of the Slabodka Yeshiva the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Scher (1875-1952) one of the greatest Rosh Yeshivas and Ba'alei Mussar in the Land of Israel after the Holocaust. In his youth, he studied Torah with Rabbi Baruch Ber Leibowitz and at the Volozhin Yeshiva and later met Rabbi Nosson Zvi Finkel the "Saba of Slabodka" and became his disciple and follower. In the land of israel, he reestablished the Slabodka Yeshiva in Bnei Berak and was its Rosh Yeshiva for many years.
