Extremely rare, Tikkunei HaZohar first edition! Printed by Emanuel ben Yekutiel Ish Benyonto Mantova, 1558.
Ayin Tikkunim by the Divine Tana Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai on the secrets of the Torah and exegesis on the word Bereshit. This first edition constituted the basis and foundation of all following editions of Tikkunei HaZohar and was recognized by our Kabbalist rabbis as the source for resolving disputes regarding textual variations and other hidden matters. The virtue of saying these Tikkunim, even without understanding them, and the viture of possessing the Sefer is well known. Before as is a rare holy item which is not commonly encountered.
Incomplete copy. Without the title page and several leaves at the end of the Sefer.
[3], 146 leaves. 18 cm.
The body of the Sefer is partly detached from the binding and a group of leaves is also detached from it (up to leaf 19), stains, some wear to the margins, some moth holes.
General condition: fair-good.
