Sefer HaAruch by Rabbi Nassan of Rome, Dictionary of Talmudic words, second edition, Pissarro, 1517.
Sefer HaAruch authored by Rabbi Nassan ben Rabbi Yechiel of Rome, one of the basic Seforim for understanding difficult words of the Tamud and the Midrashim of the Sages. Rabbi Nassan, who was one of the greatest rabbis of Rome and headed a great yeshiva, explains in his foreword why he authored the Sefer: Many of Gedolei Hador discussed his words and cited them, apparently the most prominent of them being Rashi.
