Shut Maharach Or Zaru'ah. K.V. Pollroth Press, Leipzig, Lipsi'a, [1860]. A copy with the personal stamp of the holy Gaon, one of the greatest Tzaddikim of Hungary, Rabbi Shaul Brach Av Beis Din of Kashoy, and with handwritten glosses.
XIV, 3-8 pp. 91 leaves, 2 pp. One of the index leaves of the responses is bound at the end of the Sefer while the other leaves are bound at its beginning. With a stamp of Rabbi Shaul Brach and stamps of his grandson Rabbi Yosef Zvi Friedman. With a handwritten scholarly gloss and some corrections of printing errors.
The holy Gaon Rabbi Shaul Brach of Neitra (1865-1940) - Kashoi, was born in Neitra, appearing on his stamp 'Shaul Brach of Neitra'. Studied Torah with Maranan the Maharam Schik and the Chassan Sofer and travelled to the Tzaddikim of his generation of Sanz, Siget and Belz. Was renowned as Av Beis Din of Kashoi and most of the leading rabbis of Hungary studied at the renowned Yeshiva he established there. Was also known as 'Shaul Bchir Hashem'.
Rabbi Yosef Zvi Friedman (1930-2006) Rabbi Shaul Brach's grandson. Survived the Holocaust and its horrors. He managed to save several copies of his grandfather's Seforim and after World War II, immigrated to New York, where he published his grandfather's Seforim and some of his letters.

70 leaves, 23 cm. An index on the last leaf is missing and has been completed by hand. Stamps of Rabbi Yosef Zvi Friedman. Printed after the Furth 1768 edition.
Detached and blemished binding, the last leaf is detached and worn in its perimeter with water damage, stains, fair condition.
