Special historical document, agreement for the printing of Sefer Ma'oran shel Yisroel between Maran the Emunas Moshe of Alexander and the printer, Eshel Press. Bnei Berak, 1969. 


Handwritten letter of agreement between Maran the Emunas Moshe of Alexander the holy Rav Rabbi Yehuda Moshe Danziger and the printer Reb Sholom Friedman, the owner of the Eshel Press, regarding the printing of the Sefer Ma'oran shel Yisroel about the history of the holy Rav the Yismach Moshe of Alexander. 

The agreement specifies the price of each copy, the number of pages and number of copies 'exemplars' that will be published. 

The holy Rav the Emunas Moshe added a line and his signature to the letter 'I too agree to the above Yehuda Moshe Danziger'. 


The Holy Rav Rabbi Yehuda Moshe of Alexander (1892-1973), the successor of the Alexander dynasty who rebuilt the holy court after the Holocaust. In his youth he studied with the Dayan Rabbi Avraham Eliezer Rottenberg of Lodz. At the age of 13 received his rabbinic Semicha. Married the daughter of the Holy Rav Rabbi Bezalel Yair Danziger the son of the Holy Rav Rabbi Yechiel of Alexander. A leading disciple of his uncles the Holy Rav the Yismach Yisroel and his successor the Holy Rav the Tiferest Shmuel of Alexander. Immigrated to Israel after the Holocaust and his days saw development, prosperity and renewal.
