The only one in the world! Lengthy and important letter with many blessings for a marriage and good health, handwritten entirely by Maran the Admor of Ger Shalita, with his handwritten signature.

The lengthy and rare letter was sent to one of his close Chassidim in Adar 1970, during the days of leadership of his uncle the holy Rav the Beis Yisroel of ger. In the letter, the Admor of Ger Shalita writes mainly about the state of health of his in-law, the important Gaon Rabbi Menachem Mendel Weitz, who was one of the heads of the Chidushei HaRim Yeshiva of Tel Aviv.

The letter begins with a warm Mazel Tov blessing for an upcoming marriage, the Admor writing 'Happily I received the letter and wedding invitation and I bless them with Mazel Tov and much Naches'.

Later, the present Admor of Ger Shalita, many years before he became the leader of the Ger Chassidim, informs about several happy events in the Ger family and its Chassidim. He also commends the studies and behavior of his father's grandson Rabbi Nechemya Mendel who was then a child.

In the center of the letter, his in-law's state of health 'My in-law is in the same state all the time may Hashem Yosborach pity him and send him Refu'ah Sheleima with all other sick of Yisroel'.

In the last lines of the letter, the Admor of Ger doubles his blessings for the wedding 'And I shall end like I began may the wedding be with Mazel Tov and convey my greetings to the bridegroom as well'

From me your friend who sends his regards.

(1) aerogram. 20X28 cm. Considerable fold marks. Some wear along the fold lines. On the back of the leaf, the addressee's name was handwritten by the Admor of Ger and the address by someone else. Very good condition.

The Admor of Ger avoided writing approbations or letters, on public matters and certainly on private matters. This letter is one of a kind in its length, its style and especially the matters it refers to. Additional details will be given upon request.

Maran the Admor of Ger Shalita, one of the greatest leaders of the generation, a member of the presidency of Mo'etzes Gedolei HaTorah of Agudas Yisroel. Was born to his father the Lev Simcha and to his grandfather the holy Rav the Imrei Emes of ger. On his mother's side he was the grandson of the holy Rav of Kock and the holy Rav Rabbi Yaakov Aryeh of Radzymin, after which he was named.

After the passing of his uncle the holy Rav the Pnei Menachem, he became the leader of the Ger Chassidim. He initiated the revolution of the method of learning in the holy court: from Iyun to Beki'us.

Was known for his strict observance of the Halacha, introducing a daily hour of studying Mishnah Berurah.

Was also famed for his uncompromising war against the damage of technology and was one of the leaders who encouraged the use of Kosher mobile phones, blocked internet and maximal avoidance of it.

On Jewish holidays, thousands flock to his court in the center of Jerusalem and in his days, the holy court greatly expanded.
