Letter handwritten by the famed holy Rav of Schotz Rabbi Sholom Moskovich, with an addition handwritten by his son the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Yisroel Yaakov pertaining to the printing of the Seforim of the holy Gaon of Tshebin. Ca. 1950.
A letter on matters of charity which was sent to the Chassid Rabbi Zvi Pinchas Hacohen Moskovich of Jerusalem, in which he describes the transfer of the donations of the Rav of Schotz, takes interest in the fate of some of the funds and instructs to whom and how the money that was sent from London to Israel is to be distributed.
The son, the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Yisroel notes that he has an exemplar of the important Sefer of the Rav of Tshebin Shalita to be printed. He suggests to make a list of subscribers, dignitaries and followers of the Rav of Tshebin.
The holy Gaon Rabbi Sholom of Schotz [1878-1958] a descendant of the Zlotchov, Belz and Premishlan Chassidisms. One of the greatest Admorim of his generation. A famed wonder worker. Knowledgeable in all parts of the Torah. Was famed for the power of his prayers. Served as Rav of Schotz since 1903. In 1927 he moved to London. In his last will and testament he promised to stir pity in Heaven for anyone who comes to his gravesite, lights two candle for the ascent of his soul and takes on to strengthen in a Mitzvah or the study of the Torah.
