Rabbi Daniel ben Rabbi Moshe David Tirani (1740-1814) one of the sages of Italy. A disciple of his grandfather Rabbi Daniel Nachamu and a leading disciple of Rabbi Shimshon Morpurgo. He travelled constantly from one Jewish community to another, serving as a Darshan in Ancona, Rav in Ponty and Dayan in Pissaro. Since 1790 served as Rab and Av Beis Din of Florence. Author of Ikraei Hadat, Ketav Hadat, Matnat Yad, Se'udas Mitzvah and more.
