Lengthy letter handwritten and signed by the holy Rav the Knesses Yechezkel of Deyzh to his son the Zichron Yaakov when he was appointed a young Rav of Deyzh. Adar [1928].


The four paged letter was sent on Shushan Purim 1928 and in it, he writes to his son the holy Rav Rabbi Yaakov Elimelech about the things that should be taken care of before taking the position of the young Rav of Deyzh: timing the entrance to the apartment, delivering a lesson and sermon on Shabbas Hagadol, his wages and more.


The Holy Rav the Knesses Yechezkel of Deyzh (1870-1930) one of the great Tzaddikim of Transylvania. The son of the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe Panet and the grandson the Holy Rav the Admor Rabbi Yechezkel the Mareh Yechezkel of Deyzh. One of the greatest Admorim of his time. Was a renowned Gaon, Tzaddik and wonder-worker. Sometimes, he used to seclude himself for eighteen straight hours, studying Torah in the Nigleh and Nistar. 


The holy Rav Rabbi Yaakov Elimelech author of Zichron Yaakov of Deyzh (1889-1994), Received his Semicha at a young age by Gedolei Hador. Served as

Rav in Marosh-Avivor. In 1926, was appointed the young Rav of Deyzh, where he also headed its yeshiva. After his father's passing, he succeeded him as Av Beis Din and Admor. He was murdered in Auschwitz on the 18th day of Sivon 1934. Author of Sefer 'Zichron Yaakov' on the Torah and the Mo'adim.
