Sefer Yemei Yosef, I, Shut by Rabbi Yosef Yadid Halevi. The press of Lewy and Co. Jerusalem, [1913]. First edition. Rare.

[2], 46 leaves. Approbations by Rabbi Yaakov Shaul Elyashar and Rabbi Yaakov David Ridbaz.

Rabbi Yosef Yadid Halevi ben Rabbi Mordechai (1867-1930) - a disciple of Rabbi Avraham Chaim Ades. Immigrated from Haleb to Eretz Yisroel in 1889, taught Torah and served as a Dayan in Safed. Moved to Jerusalem, where he served as Dayan and Moreh Hora'ah of the Bukhari community of Jerusalem and as Av Beis Din of the Halab community. Author of many books including Birkas Yosef, Vayechi Yosef, Yemei Yosef, Birkas Chacham and more.

Eventually, the Rav published a broadside, asking for forgiveness for the style of some of the Psakim appearing in this book, including the section of Choshen Mishpas Siman I and the section of Orch Chaim Siman IV, explaining that the words were written when he was young and when they were printed, he did not take the time to make things right.
