The Gaon Rabbi Shmuel ben Rabbi Yitzchak Aripol - was born in Salonika. A disciple of the mabit, one of the sages of Safed and one of the leading ba'alei Hora'ah in the time of Maran the Beis Yosef and Rabbeinu the Ari. Authored many books including Zevach Todah (Kushta, ca. 1574), Agadat Shmuel (Venice, 1576), Mizmor Letodah on Tehillim (Venice, 1576) and Lev Chacham on Kohelet (Kushta, 1586).
New impressive leather binding. Restoration, blemishes and moth holes affecting the text. Good condition.
