Halacha Ruling From Maran Rabbi Ovadyah Yosef
Halachic ruling on the topic of Yichs and marriage of a Kohen to a divorcee, signed by the Rishon Letzion, Maran Rabbi Ovadiya Yosef. March, 1979.
The ruling was sent to a person who had verbally asked if there is any possible way to allow a divorcee to marry a Kohen, after questions arose regarding this.
Maran writes that, inasmuch as the information he has regarding the subject, there is no possibility of this.
Maran blesses, May Hashem send her her right match soon.
