‘He Will Merit To Go Up To The Heights Of His Holy Mountain’ The Gaon Of Lublin Rabbi Eliyahu Klatzkin
Letter of request, entirely handwritten and signed by the Gaon the Rav of Lublin, Rabbi Eliyahu Klatzkin, with a recommendation to emigrate to the Holy Land. Undated.
Letters in his handwriting are extremely rare. From the handwriting it appears that the letter was written in his ast years, probably the early 1930’s.
In the letter he sends his recommendations to someone who is not mentioned, and blesses him that he should merit to go to EY and see the coming of Moshiach.
His full signature and his stamp.
As said, such letters are extremely rare.
