‘Berditchover Siddur’, Przemyśl Edition Exemplar of the Holy Rabbi Yisrael Freund of Hunyad
“Siddur Tefila Yeshara and Keter Nehora” , also known as the ‘Berditchover Siddur’. Pshemishl edition, based on the Radvil edition, with the approbations of the Tzaddikim of the generation, the Rebbes of Belz and Satmar.
Exemplar of the holy and pious Rabbi Yisrael Freund of Nasoid and Honiad, father of Maran Gaavad of Yerushalayim, Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund.
On the front flyleaf are stamps with his name and other ownership notations.
Inside appears a handwritten name to pray for: “Moshe Aryeh son of Chana Malka” – apparently a relative of Rabbi Freund.
Wear on pages. Some pages detached. Original, dilapidated cover. Damaged spine. Fair-good condition.
