Tractates Rosh Hashana and Megillah from Talmud Bavli, with Rashiand Tosafot, Piskei Tosafot, Rosh and Piskei HaRosh, Rambam’s Peirush Hamishnayos, with glosses and version changes; with Chiddushei Halacha and chiddushei Agaddah by the Maharsha, Maharshal’s Chochmas Shlomo, Maharam of Lublin, Maharam Schiff with commentary of Rabbi Mardisch of Paritzk, Tisfot Yom Tov and Tiferet Shmuel on the Rosh, the Rif with all commentaries, Sefer Mordechai with glosses. With an addition of Chidushei Agagot from Ein Yaakov, Chiddushei Ramban, Rashba, Ritva, and the Ran. With glosses from the Geonim and glosses on the Maharsha. With pre-title page for tractate Rosh Hashana. Title page for tractate Megilla and for Rav Alfas. This is an extremely rare Sefer, not found in the Hebrew Book Bibliography or in the United Catalog of Israeli Libraries. With many stamps, signatures, and notations, amongst which are: “Yechezkel Bennet Av Beis Din of Varhal (Szinérváralja)” – son-in-law of the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Gluck Av Beis Din of Toltchowa, Elazar Bennet, Yaakov Yehuda Harstein, Avigdor Markowitz, Yitzchak Lowinger, Yitzchak Goldstein, Avraham Zev Grunwald, Yitzchak Weiss, “This Gemara is a gift sent to Admor Shlita by the bochur Avraham Hershkowitz of Shick Erlau”, “Gift sent to Admor…”, “[received as gift from Avraham son of R’ Zelig] Hershkowitz of Shick Erlau, Tuesday Mishpatim 5649…” with additional signatures from Szinérváralja and Latin notations, amongs which is “Benedikt” (how Rabbi Bennet spelled his name).
