“Anshei Shem” Signatures of the Gedolim On Behalf of ‘Ohel Moshe’ in Jerusalem
Witness of Anshei Shem – a pamphlet of letters and signatures of many Gedolim on behalf of Maharil Diskin’s Yeshiva Ohel Moshe.
Printed pamphlet with signatures of all the Rabbonim and Gedolim of the generation who supported, in their handwriting and/or signatures, the Yeshiva Ohel Moshe founded by Maran the Saraf of Brisk, Rabbi Yehoshua Leib Diskin, headed by his son the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Yerucham Diskin. Undated, but post Rabbi Yitzchak Yerucham’s passing.
Among the letters included – in facsimile –are letters by Maran the immense Gaon Rabbi Chaim Halevi of Brisk, the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld, Rav Kook, the Tolna Rebbe, Rabbi David Mordechai Twersky, additional significant Rabbis, and the American Consul.
