Manuscript, Chassidic “Booklet” of a Ma’amar Chassidus by C”K Admor the Tzemach Tzedek of Lubavitch. 1867 - Manuscript, a Chassidic “booklet”, a transcription of “Shoresh Mitzvat Hatefilah” by C”K Admor the Tzemach Tzedek of Lubavitch – transcription from 1867. Inscription on the title page: ”Sha'ar HaTefilah by Admor OBM of Lubavitch – The year 'Birchat Hashem' (corresponding to 5627 - 1867) – Belongs to the Rabbinic Aryeh Leib ben Yaakov Kopel [Shapiro] Horowitz”. (The name ”Shapiro” was crossed out.)  (the transcriber erroneously wrote on the title page that this is “Sha’ar HaTefilah”, the name of one of the Seforim of the Mitteler Rebbe of Lubavitch, which had been printed long before 1867. However, this is a mistake and the transcriber confused two different works on Davening from two different Rebbes of Chabad.) In 1867, the year this transcription was made, the “Shoresh Mitzvat HaTefilah” had not been printed yet; it was first printed as part of the Sefer “Derech Mitzvoteicha”, vol. I, in 1911. Most, but not all chapters of the composition were transcribed here. The original work has 50 chapters. This transcription is missing chapters 36-37 and some of chapter 35, and it ends in middle of chapter 45. [113] sh. (225 written pp.) 17cm. Most pages are in fair-bad condition due to oxidization of the ink causing scorching of the paper. Dismantled and detached cover. Several detached pages.
