Ownership notation: “Avraham Bechor Shmuel She’altiel” – from the heads of the She’altiel family, known as one of the noble families of Spain already in the days of the Rishonim. The family had its own crest and flag. Amongst the branches of the family are Rabbonim, courtiers, officials, fiancé ministers, and printers (Moshe ben She’altiel printed the incunabulum of the Rambam’s Mishne Torah).
