The Megillah is illustrated throughout with colorful flowers and birds. At the beginning and end of the Megillah is a stamp: “Refael ben Yehuda Shoshan, of Taourirt – Morocco”. Written on dark parchment. North-African Sephardic scribe’s script. Bound on a carved post. Parchment height: 23cm. 23 lines per column. The entire length, including the handle: 49cm. Various stains. Some damage to the handle. Placed in a handsome velvet wrapper with gold fringes. Good-very good condition.
