Megillas Esther, Handsome Iraqi Artwork, 19th Century - Megillas Esther. Iraq, ca. 19th century. [6] parchment sheets {20} columns with [18] lines per column (11 lines on the page with the list of Haman’s children). Handsome Sephardic handwriting. Perchment, connected to one post, 40cm. length. Bound with a leather thong, 101cm. long. Placed in a cloth bag which originally came with a champagne bottle. The Megilla was used in an Iraqi synagogue in Burma. Two short rips on the width of one section. Stains. Good condition.
