Letter of Blessings for a Wedding from the Tzaddik and Gaon, the Raavad, Rabbi Pinchas Epstein - Postcard with wedding greetings, handwritten by the Gaon and Tzaddik, the Raavad of the Eidah Charedis in Yerushalayim, Rabbi Pinchas Epstein. 1959. It is interesting to note that Rabbi Epsteing, the Raavad, sent the blessings to Rabbi Mertzbach, a member of the Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah of Agudas Yisroel on occasion of the wedding of Rabbi Mrtzbach’s son. He acknowledges the receipt of the invitation, and blesses “The Creator of the world will complete this building for eternity, on purity of the Torah and the true completeness as is their hearts’ wish”. He signs with both his and his father’s name, a rare occurrence. [1] handwritten and signed postcard. Sender and recipient’s addresses in his handwriting on reverse side. Slight staining.
