Dyhernfurth, 1711 - Sefer Beis Hillel, elucidation on Shulchan Aruch Yoreh De’ah and Even Ha’ezer, by Rabbi Hillel, son of Rabbi Naftali Hirtz, Av Beis Din of the AH”U communities and Zolkiew – two parts in one volume – Dyhernfurth, 1711 – first edition – Ancient glosses from the mid-1700’s. Stamps of “Beis Medrash Gavo’ha of Cracow”. Rabbi Hillel, son of Rabbi Naftali Hirtz (1615-1690) was a Lithuanian Rabbi, from the Dayanim of Vilna, later becoming Av Beis Din of the AH”U communities (Altona, Hamburg, & Wandsbek, Germany) and in Zolkiew (Galicia). Known mainly due to his Sefer “Beis Hillel” on the Shulchan Aruch. He was succeeded in Vilna by the Shach. Incomplete exemplar. 3-134 {1], 49 pp. Missing first three pages. 30cm. Stains.
