Letter of Recommendation by the Holy Rabbe, Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Rosenboim of Nadvorna – 1956 - Letter of recommendation from the holy Dvar Chaim of Nadvorna, writing to the deputy mayor of Tel Aviv, Rabbi Yehuda Meir Abramowitz, regarding one of the prominent Torah scholars in the city. “I hereby recommend regarding my dear friend… Rabbi Chaim Aryeh Kahana Shlita…and as he was used to rule regarding issues that are allowed and forbidden already when he was still abroad… he was taken here as well to serve as Rabbi in the Zichron Kedoshim synagogue, and up until now has not received his wages. Therefore I intercede on his behalf and ask that his honor the religious deputy mayor take care of his case… and to do for him a complete favor… to place him with a salary as befitting his stature and his deplorable situation…” He concludes with his holy signature: “the words of he who awaits and beseeches the salvation of Hashem speedily, Chaim Mordechai Rosenbaum, son of the Tzaddik Rabbi Itamar Shlita”.
