Letter from the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Signed by the Secretary - Letter from C”K Admor of Lubavitch OBM on the halachot of honoring one’s Rabbi, signed by the secretary Rabbi Eliyahu Quint – sent to the wonderous Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Zerachya Segal, Rabbi of the Kiryat Shalom neighborhood in Tel Aviv – Tishrei, 1955. Explains why Chassidim are stringent to never refer to their Rebbe by name, even together with an honorific, and even not to his face. The letter was printed in ‘Igros Koddesh’, Vol 12, pg. 11. An additional page is attached to this letter, signed by the secretary Rabbi Quint, dated 11 Adar 5715 (Mar. 5, 1955), which acknowledges the receipt of Rabbi Segal’s letter. [1] pg.
