Letter of the Gaon Rabbi Shraga Feisch Pollak, Av Beis Din of Waitzen - Postcard, handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Shraga Feisch Pollak, Av Beis Din of Waitzen, to a congregation in Budapest and its lay leaders. 1931. In the letter, he uses the term ‘אקרו”ט’ – an acronym for “Majors, Officers, Rabbis, and Goodmen”, or the lay leaders of the community. This term is seen in many responsa and community ledgers.
