Further on he discusses another comment by his great and holy father: “in passing… I will mention what I wrote today on the page of his Shulchan Aruch in Yoreh De’ah” The immense Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Eiger (1787-1852), son, disciple, and successor of his illustrious father, Rabbi Akiva Eiger.
