Shut Binyan Shlomo. Lengthy Glosses from the Rabbi of Pochovitz, Never printed. - Shut Binyan Shlomo, by Rabbi Shlomo HaKohen, author of ”Cheshek Shlomo, ” the renowned Mo”tz in Vilna – Vilna, 1889 – First Edition – With Lengthy Scholarly Glosses Signed in the Handwriting of the Gaon Rabbi Chanoch Henoch Shimanowitz, Av Beit Din of Pochovitz and Kabilnik. On the second title page, stamp: ”Chanoch Henoch, son of Admor Rabbi Moshe Zelig Shimanowitz, Pochovitz.” On leaf 1/1 (from the second-page numbering), an additional stamp: ”ח”ה [=Chanoch Henoch] son of Admor Rabbi Moshe Zelig Shimanowitz, Kabilnik.” Some of the glosses are relatively lengthy, and two of them are signed at the end by the author. The Gaon Rabbi Chanoch Henoch, son of Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua Zelig (born 1871, still alive in 1912). In 1892, he began serving rabbinical positions in Kabilnik and Pochovitz (Minsk Province). He held a license from the Minister of the Interior to be an official rabbi throughout the entire state (Ohalei Shem, Gottlieb, Pinsk 1912, p. 148). [2], 12; 68, [1], 16 leaves. 37 cm.
