A rare letter from the holy Rabbi Shlomo Dovid Yehoshua of Slonim, the Maharshd”i, to the Vaad HaYeshivos. 1934. - A rare letter from the holy Rabbi Shlomo Dovid Yehoshua of Slonim, the Maharshd”i – to the administrators of the Vaad HaYeshivos. 1934. In this letter, sent in the month of Nissan 1934, during the first year after the passing of his father, the holy Beis Avraham of Slonim, it is written by his close confidant, the Gaon Rabbi Nachum Zev Brazovsky - brother of Rabbi Shalom Noach Brazovsky (the Nesivos Shalom) and rabbi of the Slonim Chassidim in Tel Aviv and Bnei Brak. Rabbi Nachum Zev Brazovsky requests from the Vaad HaYeshivos that charity funds collected by the holy Maharshd”i of Slonim, which were mistakenly sent to the Vaad HaYeshivos instead of Kollel Reisin (which was under the leadership of the righteous figures of the Lechovitz and Slonim dynasties), be redirected to their intended purpose. He notes that approval was received from the donors, the residents and rabbis of Rakov, confirming that their original intent was to contribute to Kollel Reisin and not to the Vaad HaYeshivos. [1] Official letter paper. Written and signed by a secretary. Light filing and folding marks. Vaad HaYeshivos stamp. Very good condition.
