”Requires further analysis in his holy words” – Eglei Tal of the holy Shevet Halevi – with his Halachic annotations. - Novellae on Halacha and profound notes in the holy handwriting of the author of Shevet HaLevi on his personal copy of ”Eglei Tal.” Sefer Eglei Tal, second edition, Piotrków, 1932. The personal copy of the great Gaon, Rabbi Shmuel Halevi Wosner, author of Shevet HaLevi, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin, and Av Beis Din of Zichron Meir, a pillar of Halachic ruling for Klal Yisrael. On the flyleaf, his famous round stamp: ”Shmuel Halevi Wosner, Rabbi and Rosh Mesivta of Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin, Zichron Meir.” Inside the Sefer, many lengthy glosses, most of which humbly raise questions on the words of the author of Avnei Nezer and Eglei Tal, with great deference to their Torah, yet adding further challenges and providing sources, particularly from Shu”t Chasam Sofer. The learning approach of the author of Shevet HaLevi, in Halacha and pesak, is clearly reflected in these glosses - most of them being extensive and significant, with one merely citing a reference in Shu”t Chasam Sofer.
