Dov Ber Boimshtein from Zborov, ” the Shochet and Bodek “Nachman son of Rabbi Aharon Tzvi, ” and the signature “The young Moshe son of the Gaon Moreinu Harav Rabbi Elazar, may he live” – referring to the Holy Gaon Rabbi Moshe, son of the Gaon Moreinu Harav Rabbi Elazar Rokeach, Av Beit Din of Brody, Amsterdam, and Tzfat. With an ownership inscription: “This precious Sefer belongs to my father, the great luminary, the Gaon Moreinu Harav Rabbi Moshe, may he live, ” along with additional signatures and a stamp of Rabbi Avraham Aryeh Leib Rozen of Vynezh. The Holy Rabbi Moshe Rokeach, Av Beit Din of Zbarazh, Zlotshov, and Chief Rabbi of Brody (circa 1690–1751) – great-grandfather of the Holy Rabbi Shalom of Belz. It is told that prior to his birth, his holy father, Rabbi Elazar Rokeach, secluded himself for seven years until Eliyahu HaNavi appeared to him and told him to desist, as the soul he had brought down into the world was already a supremely lofty soul. In his first marriage he was the son-in-law of Rabbi Naftali Katz, author of Semichat Chachamim, and in his second marriage, the son-in-law of the Chacham Tzvi. [2], 92 leaves.
