Rabbi Meir Simcha HaKohen (1843–1926 / תר”ג–תרפ”ו) – one of the greatest Torah sages of pre-Holocaust Europe. He served for many years as the rabbi of the non-Chassidic community in Dvinsk (alongside the Rogatchover Gaon, Rabbi Yosef Rozin, who was the rabbi of the Chassidic community).
