Aryeh Leib thanks him for money he sent: “Since the passing of my father, I have nearly ceased my involvement in the sale of the Sefarim due to the mourning, as is understood, and my livelihood comes only from booksellers when there is demand, or from booksellers from other countries…” Rabbi Aryeh Leib HaKohen, Av Beit Din of Radin [1861–1939], was the eldest son and right-hand of the Chafetz Chaim. In his youth he studied under the Beit HaLevi of Brisk as well as under Rabbi Yosef Zundel Hutner. After the passing of the Chafetz Chaim, he was appointed as his successor as Rabbi of Radin.
