Letter from the Holy Rabbi the Avir Yaakov of Sadigura, Requesting Assistance for a Righteous Rebbetzin of the Ruzhin Dynasty - Letter from the Holy Rabbi the Avir Yaakov of Sadigura to the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac HaLevi Herzog, Requesting Assistance for a Righteous Rebbetzin of the Ruzhin Dynasty. Tel Aviv, 1950 “I request that you help her… with a larger sum, for she has fallen Mei’igra Rama L’bira Amikta [from a great height to a deep pit], and she no longer even has a dwelling… I know your kind heart toward our unfortunate and rejected Jewish brethren, driven away by the wicked regime, may its name be blotted out.” A lengthy letter from the holy Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura, the “Avir Yaakov, ” addressed to the Chief Rabbi, the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Herzog. In it, he pleads for the salvation of a most important soul who survived the inferno and the Holocaust and now possesses nothing. The subject is the esteemed Rebbetzin Mrs. Rickel Friedman Label, granddaughter of the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Yitzchak of Bohush (the first), and daughter-in-law in her first marriage of the holy Rabbi Yisrael of Chortkov, and in her second marriage, of the holy Rabbi of Piatra Neamț. At the end of the letter, the Rebbe adds a personal line in his own holy handwriting. [1] leaf, official letter paper.
