Two interesting letters from the Admor Rabbi Baruch Yehoshua Yerachmiel Rabinovich, Av Beit Din of Munkacs – 1947–1948 - “…And may He fulfill all the desires of their hearts for good – with children, life, and ample sustenance.” “And may this year be a year of Geulah V'Yeshua, and may Hashem gather our dispersed from the four corners of the earth to our Land.” Presented here are two letters from the Admor Rabbi Baruch Yehoshua Yerachmiel Rabinovich. The first was written in the month of Menachem Av 1947, during his time abroad, to his friend Rabbi Chanoch Henich Shvergold. The letter is typewritten and signed in his own handwriting. In the first part, he expresses hope to return soon to Eretz Yisroel, and the second part discusses the printing of the works of his father, the Admor Rabbi Natan David Rabinovich of Biala-Parczew (1866–1931). The second letter was written during the Aseres Yemei Teshuva in 1948 to the same friend, entirely in his own handwriting. It is filled throughout with many blessings for the New Year. Both letters are written on official stationery of “Rabbi Baruch Y. Y. Rabinovich, Av Beit Din of Munkacs and the surrounding areas – 22 Feirberg St., Tel Aviv.” The Holy Admor of Munkacs, Rabbi Baruch Yehoshua Yerachmiel Rabinovich (1914–1997), Admor of Munkacs in Petach Tikva, was renowned both for his Torah genius and his exceptional wisdom. He was the son of the Admor Rabbi Natan David of Parczew. In his youth, his fame spread widely, and the Holy Minchas Elazar of Munkacs sought him out and later took him as a son-in-law (their wedding being one of the major Chassidic events of that era). After the Holocaust, Rabbi Yehoshua served as rabbi in São Paulo, then Holon, and finally settled in Petach Tikva. Two of his sons serve today as Admorim. [2] leaves. 28 cm. Good condition.
