Rabbinical ordination letter in the holy handwriting of the HaGaon HaKadosh Rabbi Menachem Bradi, Av Beit Din of Tash and Kalov, author of Be’er Menachem – ordination for his Talmud Rabbi Aharon Lemberger – Kalov, Iyar 1938. The holy Gaon Rabbi Menachem Bradi of Kalov (1862–1938) was a prominent disciple of the Yitav Lev and the Beit Yotzer, and son-in-law of the holy Rabbi Meshulam Feish Segal-Lowy of Tash (the first Admor of the Tash dynasty). He served in the rabbinate of Tash for nineteen years, and afterward in Kalov for thirty-seven years. He was among the great tzaddikim of Hungary, serving Hashem with self-sacrifice, holiness, and purity. For most of his life he headed a large yeshiva in his communities, where he taught over twelve thousand disciples, many of whom became Torah disseminators and outstanding Torah scholars. After his passing in 1939, his work Be’er Menachem on the Torah was printed, with an introduction written by one of his great disciples, recounting at length his life and lofty levels in the service of Hashem. Rabbi Aharon Lemberger was the younger brother of the Ateret Moshe of Makova, and son-in-law of the Admor Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel of Kopitchnitz. His son-in-law is the Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Auerbach shlit”a of Tel Aviv, rabbi of the Kehillah Abir Yaakov. [1] Leaf. 21 cm. Good condition. Filing holes.
