[1] Printed payment voucher issued by Kollel Volhyn, with details filled in by hand, including the recipient’s name, sum, purpose of the donation, and the date, bearing the handwritten signature of the recipient. “The Saba, ” Rabbi Yisrael Dov (Ber) Odesser (1886–1994) – born in Safed to a family of Karlin Chassidim. In his youth, he drew close to Breslov Chassidut and became a disciple of Rabbi Yisrael Karduner and other elder Breslov Chassidim. He became famous in his later years through the mysterious note known as the petek, containing the phrase “Na Nach Nachma Nachman Me’Uman”, and is remembered as “the Saba of the Petek.” Very good condition.
