Manuscript, Derashah of Maran the “Chasam Sofer” from Shabbat Chanukah 1824, in the Handwriting of One of His Disciples – Four Pages, with Title in the Very Handwriting of the Chasam Sofer This manuscript was reviewed and checked by Maran, the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Sofer, author of Chasam Sofer, himself. At the heading before the Derash is written: ”דרוש ששמעתי מאמ”ו הגאון הגדול מו”ה משה סופר פה ק”ק פרעשבורג בשבת חנוכה תקפ”ד”. On the front page of the manuscript is written in the very handwriting of Rabbeinu HaGadol, author of Chasam Sofer: ”דרוש לשבת חנוכה תקפ”ו [!] לפ”ק, שבת מ”ט ע”א אבות מלאכות מ' חסר א'[חת]”. The Chiddushim on the page before us were printed verbatim in Chiddushei Chasam Sofer on Tractate Shabbat, in the Chiddushim on folio 49, under the title: ”דרוש לשבת חנוכה תקפ”ד לפ”ק”.
