Manuscript of the Holy Wonder-Worker Rabbi Yaakov Aryeh of Radzymin – A Leaf of His Torah Teachings. A Special Segulah for Supreme Protection! A leaf written by the holy hand of the Tzaddik, a wonder-worker who brought salvation, the holy Rabbi Yaakov Aryeh of Radzymin, containing Chiddushei Torah, later printed in his Sefer Bikurei Aviv, copied from this very autograph manuscript. On the leaf before us are written Chiddushim on Parashat Bechukotai. They were printed in his Sefer Bikurei Aviv, pp. 85–86. It is well known among Tzaddikim that the handwriting of the holy Rabbi of Radzymin is a special segulah for supreme protection. Even among the Tzaddikim of the schools of Peshischa and Kotzk, the segulah of this handwriting was highly esteemed, for protection, success, and blessing. The holy Imrei Emes of Ger gave his son, the holy Lev Simcha, who married into the house of Radzymin, an autograph manuscript of his ancestor from Radzymin, noting in rare fashion that it is a special segulah and protection. The holy wonder-worker Rabbi Yaakov Aryeh Gutterman of Radzymin [1792–1874], elder of the Tzaddikim of Poland in his generation. A foremost disciple of the holy Rabbi of Lublin, the holy Rabbi of Peshischa, and the holy Rabbi of Warka. His close companions were the holy Rabbi of Warka, the “Seraph” of Kotzk, and the holy Chiddushei HaRim. All the Tzaddikim of his generation would send him petition notes in their times of distress, and he wrought wonders for the multitudes who flocked to his court, bestowing salvations upon the Jewish people in wondrous fashion through his decrees. Among his descendants in our generation are the holy Admor of Ger shlit”a and the holy Admor of Amshinov shlit”a, both called by his name. [1] leaf (2 written pages). 21 cm. Fair condition.
