Exemplar of the Geonim and Tzaddikim Rabbi Chaim Ehrenreich of Shamloi and Rabbi Menachem Aharon Lebowitz of Chop. Sefer “Erech Hashulchan” was authored by the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak, son of Rabbi Binyamin Teib. Printed in Livorno in 1791. On the title page and other places are the stamps of the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Ehrenreich of Shamloi, son of the holy Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman “The holy Rav of Shamloi”. On the front flyleaf is an ownership notation handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Menachem Aharon Lebowitz: “The Creator, may He be blessed has gifted me with this valuable and rare Sefer Erech Hashulchan on Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim from an ancient Sephardic Gaon here in the great city of Budapest. Thursday Pekudei, the 2nd of Adar, 5692 (Mar. 10, 1932), Menachem Aharon Lebowitz, son of my father and teacher, the Gaon Av Beis Din of Chop”.
